The Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025, organized by the Government of Odisha, is a flagship Global Investment Summit aimed at positioning the state as a key player in the Purvodaya vision and establishing it as a leading investment destination and industrial hub in India.
In his address, Odisha Chief Minister Majhi expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for his unwavering support to the state. He highlighted that this marks PM Modi’s fifth visit to Odisha in just seven months, underscoring the significant impact of initiatives such as the foundation of ‘Purvodaya’. Majhi emphasized that these initiatives would lead to substantial infrastructural development and transformation in the state. “In the last seven months, this is your (PM Modi’s) fifth visit to Odisha, and each time you bring gifts for the state. This time, the gift is so substantial that the state will undergo a massive transformation in the coming months. The foundation of ‘Purvodaya’ laid by you seven months ago will pave the way for robust infrastructure development,” he said.
The conclave will feature CEOs and Leaders’ Roundtables, sectoral sessions, B2B meetings, and policy discussions, designed to facilitate meaningful engagement with investors from around the world. PM Modi also inaugurated the Make in Odisha Exhibition, which showcases the state’s achievements in developing a dynamic industrial ecosystem.
The two-day conclave, running from January 28 to 29, will provide a platform for industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to come together and explore the investment opportunities Odisha offers as a preferred destination for business.
